Getting around without a car

The triplex is about a 3-minute walk from Jarry station.

Jarry station, on the orange line, is part of Montreal’s original metro network, opened in 1966. One stop south, Jean-Talon connects to the blue line towards Université de Montréal and Saint-Michel. Downtown is about 15 minutes away by metro.

The REV Lajeunesse–Saint-Denis, the Robert-Silverman express bike path, runs in front of the building. About 9 km long, it links boulevard Gouin to rue Cherrier via the Sauvé intermodal station and Jean-Talon Market. Major roads, including the Métropolitaine expressway, are also close by.

Parks, market and neighbourhood life

Jarry Park

At some 36 hectares, Jarry Park is one of Montreal’s large parks: a pond, baseball, soccer and tennis fields, a pool and splash pads. It is home to the IGA Stadium, which hosts Montreal’s professional tennis tournament every summer on the site of the former Expos stadium.

Jean-Talon Market

Opened in 1933, Jean-Talon Market is one of the largest open-air public markets in North America. Quebec growers, fishmongers, cheese shops: it is a bike ride away on the REV or one metro stop.

Villeray’s streets and lanes

Villeray, in the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough, is a dense residential area dominated by duplexes and triplexes with outdoor staircases. Green lanes, neighbourhood schools and the shops on Jarry, De Castelnau and Villeray streets attract many families and young professionals.

Why buy a plex in Villeray

Near a metro station, demand for rental units stays strong, which helps keep vacancy low. Plexes built before 1940, like this 1929 triplex, often offer large units, high ceilings and sought-after period materials. And owning a plex lets you live in a central neighbourhood while sharing the cost of ownership with rental income.
